Description
MANUFACTURING QUALITY 30 years ago, the MOB Group acquired TALABOT, Europe's leading manufacturer of files and rasps. TALABOT's files are characterized by a long cutting life thanks to the high carbon content of the steel (1.3 to 1.4%). It is alloyed with chromium to obtain a powerful bite. MOB checks the chemical composition of its steels every time they are cast. Perfect mastery of hardening, a vital operation for cutting quality, guarantees file hardnesses of 65±2 HRC. Triangular shape for resharpenable saw teeth (third point). The smaller the saw teeth, the sharper the file. Single size, unlike mechanical files which have a double size. Single size, medium smooth, type 2.
