9827SET OF 2 FILES + 1 RASP BI-MATERIAL HANDLE ON CARD
Description
1 semi-soft flat hand file - 1 semi-soft medium round file - 1 medium round rasp. MANUFACTURING QUALITY 30 years ago, the MOB Group acquired TALABOT, Europe's leading manufacturer of files and rasps. TALABOT's files are characterized by a long cutting life thanks to the high carbon content of the steel (1.3 to 1.4%). It is alloyed with chromium to obtain a powerful bite. MOB checks the chemical composition of its steels every time they are cast. Perfect mastery of hardening, a crucial operation for cutting quality, guarantees file hardnesses of 65±2 HRC. Dimensions : Files are defined by their length (excluding the tang) in mm, and their size: bastard for roughing, semi-soft for filing, and soft for finishing. File steel has a lower carbon content (0.45%) for effective work on soft materials. Hardnesses of 53 HRC for rasps. MOB files and rasps comply with standard NF E 75 001-75 002. Dimensions: rasps are defined by their length (excluding the tang) in mm. They can be used on soft materials such as aluminum, lead, plastic and, of course, wood. The finish of rasps is measured by the number of pricks per cm2. There are three types of stitching, depending on the degree of finish required: coarse stitching (1) for roughing, medium stitching (2) for routine work and fine stitching (3) for finishing. Bi-material handle: Polypropylene, for strength and relief for precision work, and elastomer, for flexibility and comfort - limits perspiration and hand temperature rise.
